Jacobs went to Pittsburgh's Pittsburgh Playhouse on Saturdays to learn acting lessons. When she was 8, she began studying acting. Mt. Jacobs and leaving Lebanon High School and moved to New York City in the year 2000. In New York City, she was a part of Group 33, the Drama Division of Group 33. The school awarded her a bachelor's degree in 2004 following graduation at Lebanon High School.
